Taman Impian Jaya Ancol management supports Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan for his suggestion to close several tourist attraction sites in Jakarta temporarily as a way to prevent Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) transmission.

Taman Impian Jaya Ancol President Director, Teuku Sahir Syahali mentioned, since Ancol is a tourist attraction site that is often visited by thousands of people every day, his side announced to close temporarily all recreation units in Ancol namely, Dunia Fantasi (Dufan), Atlantis Water Adventures, Ocean Dream Samudra, and Sea World Ancol.
"Based on Jakarta Governor's Instruction (Ingub) No. 16/2020 about Increasing Awareness of the Risk of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Transmission, we need to close all recreation units in Taman Impian Jaya Ancol temporarily, from Saturday, March 14 to March 27, 2020, although there is no COVID-19 cases that have been reported in Taman Impian Jaya Ancol until today," he explained, Saturday (3/14).
